"...Despite the fact that the RTA claims that tunnel filtration technology is unproven, there are in fact 41 filter tunnels in Japan, home to most of the world's long tunnels more than 2km in length.

Five tunnels in Norway are filtered and Korea is building another five, all of which will be filtered".
